Finally, Die Jungen’s ”At Breat’s End” LP is available for streaming and if anyone had any suspicions about how good this would be, it’s about time to dissolve them. Klaus Von Barrel’s side project is the best thing 2012 has shown so far and his debut full length is the most psyched doo woop (i think ”The Way Down” is going to haunt many souls out there!!!) of the recent history!!!

”At Breat’s End” LP is coming out on cd/LP/digital, 5th March on LebensStrasse Records.

Die Jungen, Discretely (from the album At Breath’s End)

Klaus von Barrel continues to just make me go WHOA by the unique stellar vibe that Die Jungen has.  With At Breath’s End, the latest amazing output from Die Jungen you get a mixture of things on each track.  Think like this cocktail of The Righteous Brothers, The Ronettes, The Everly Brothers, and The Beach Boys mixed with the vibe of newer artists like Dum Dum Girls, Dirty Beaches, and The Morning Benders.  and ahhhh there’s just too much goodness on here.  I’m posting “Discretely.”  It’s just a taste of the whole LP which you can stream now over at Soundcloud!  At Breath’s End drops 3/5 and can be purchased here!

Burn’t - a yvynyl mixtape

You never know when you’re gonna wake up in a burning house or a brand new dimension. Splintering paths you hadn’t even thought possible yeseterday because they were covered up with overgrown weeds.  But then, all of a sudden, you realize this was the only road you were ever supposed to take, the only one you can take.  No going back. This, friends, is the notion and spirit of this group of songs.  Take, eat, and keep the keel deep in the water.

Die Jungen - I Pray to You

How Klaus von Barrel continues to pull out these retro-classic tunes day after day amazes me. That deep well of hopeless romantic in him makes for songs that are both gorgeously gauzy, but also dark in that way that feels like an echo from a noir film.  In fact, his label calls it “the record that David Lynch would order to Phil Spector if Twin Peaks was Capri in the 50’s.”

Happy to debut this track in conjunction with No Fear of Pop today. Watch for his new At Breath’s End LP dropping on wax from LebensStrasse Records on February 27th, but you can pre-order that baby right here.

Klaus Von Barrel’s, and by that name remember The KVB,  Die Jungen are about to release their debut full length LP via LebensStrasse Records. ”At Breath’s End” will continue bringing to us the ’50s doo woop, rockn’roll with a Phil Spector like production like he did with his wonderful EP’s. Above you can see the video and hear the old fashioned opening track from the forthcoming LP.

For pre-orders you should check LebensStrasse’s bigcartel page.
